IIT Guwahati Deputy Registrar Vacancy 2025–Eligibility Criteria
| Educational Qualification: | A Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ on the UGC 7-point scale. |
| Experience: | 9 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in the Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of ₹6000 and above with educational administration experience. OR 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or an equivalent post in Pay Level-10. Preference will be given to candidates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTI) with administrative experience at Pay Level 10 or above. |

https://online.iitg.ac.in/recruitment. No physical copy of application / document is required to be
sent. - The post shall be filled on Deputation basis only. Relaxation of age for the concerned categories will be considered as per applicable GOI rules.
- Since the post is to be filled up on Deputation only, private candidates are not eligible.
- The period of Deputation shall be for a maximum period upto 28.04.2027 or till the regular incumbent of the post returns from deputation or till further orders, whichever is earlier. Other terms and conditions of Deputation shall be as per the Institute rules.

- Reserved category applicants shall be required to upload the latest Caste certificate issued by the
